We’re getting back into the swing of things here at The O’Leary Review. Unfortunately, we had a death in the family so content creation has been a secondary concern as of late.
We did publish our latest podcast yesterday. Haley Heathman of the Liberty Alliance Network joined us a few weeks for a nice chat.
In other news, friend of the program John Ziegler started a new podcast called The Death of Journalism. From the description of the pod:
Award winning journalists and truth crusaders Liz Habib and John Ziegler are back together again. In "The Death Of Journalism" Liz and Zig examine the loss of integrity in the news media and rip apart the popularized narrative of some of the biggest stories in the headlines.
When Zig was on our show last month, he was not confident that this new project was going to come to fruition, but, alas, it is.
The first episode addresses “racial heckling” allegations that recently surfaced with the BYU athletic program. Good episode. It sheds light on the ineptitude of the corporate media structure. I am looking forward to the entire series.
It is well worth the listen. To subscribe to the show:
Nicky Pecone, who joined us on episode 4 of The O’Leary Review Podcast, is cranking up his marketing and copywriting business.
Go to: https://nickypcopywriter.com for more. He’s helped me out, and I’m sure he can help you if you have a business problem you’re trying to fix.
We got an email the other day that friend of the show, Chad Collier, is growing a mustache for charity. Chad is the proprietor of Papa C Pies in Brentwood, Tennessee and we featured him on episode 40 of Sportlanders the Podcast.
As far as I’m concerned, Papa C Pies is the best pie shop in the nation. We’re getting ready to order our Thanksgiving pies—probably apple and chess, but also a couple more.
Go to https://www.papacpies.com/ and scroll to the bottom of the home page for their newsletter signup. The regular emails will keep you apprised of the special deals Papa C Pies has going.
I mentioned Chad is growing a mustache for charity. I found out about it via Chad’s regular emails. Chad offers several levels of benefits (read: pies) if you help him raise money for the children he’s signed up to help.
We recommend getting on the Papa C email list—if for nothing else that you get pictures of beautiful pies in each email. Papa C’s ships nationwide, too, if that helps.
I’ve heard we may be at “peak newsletter” in our culture today. It’s possible. Ever since I started writing daily letters, I found myself subscribing to more of them as well. I have more email to read than I do time in the day at this point.
I know it is hard to keep up with all the content coming at you every day. So, I’d just like to say thank you for reading us and listening to us on a regular basis.
Please share us with a friend… or two…
Finally, I’ll be livestreaming tomorrow (Saturday) morning at 10:30 Eastern / 7:30 Pacific, just like I have each week in this college football season.
Link:
We talk football, tailgate food, and whatever else is on my mind.
We stream on the Odysee platform. Odysee is a YouTube alternative…and better in many ways…YouTube is just a pain in the fanny to deal with most of the time.
If you want to join us live, sign up at Odysee to create an account and join in the chat when we're on…
You don’t have to sign up for an account, you can just watch the feed with the link above. If you want to participate in the chat, you’ll have to sign up.
I know 7:30 AM is a bit early for West Coasters, but pop in whenever you’d like…
We’ll be live (with an occasional break here and there) up until the early kickoff window at Noon E/9 P.
The premise for the livestream is college football, but we adjust as necessary. We may spend more time tomorrow on October baseball, for instance.
