The Dying Republic: 1.6 kids per woman spells demographic doom
As elites import votes instead of nurturing life, Jack Callahan reveals a powerhouse plan to reward families, revive piety, and reclaim our legacy
As one peers into the nursery of our republic, what greets you is an empty cradle. With America’s fertility rate now a skeletal 1.6 children per woman, the nation is mortgaging its future to a cabal of windbag elites and progressive apparatchiks who shrug while the cradle empties. They’d rather preach climate doom than restore hope for tomorrow’s families.
Jack Callahan—everyman, patriot, and pugilist—snorts at the spectacle. He remembers America as a land bursting with life: families crowded around Sunday dinner tables, piety mingling with laughter, and the promise of a better dawn in every newborn’s cry.
Today, he sees secular rot gnawing at the foundation. He remembered Kamala Harris, the High Priestess of Malthusianism, who used her presidential campaign to frighten twenty-somethings into embracing “climate anxiety” rather than parenthood.
Elites like Harris don’t shed tears for our disappearing birthrate. They are busy drafting open-border blueprints to import fresh ballots, not babies.
And don’t point fingers only at our shores. Look to Poland—now down to 1.1 births per woman—where faith has withered, the cost of housing crushes young couples, and the grind of modern life devours family time.
As Pat Buchanan warned in Suicide of a Superpower: Lose Christianity, lose your people. The data vindicates him.
Consider. Where church bells still toll, fertility inches higher. Where faith fades, the cradle is stillborn.
Then there’s the economics: chasing those six-figure salaries shackles many would-be parents to cubicles. Careerism trumps the orientation towards parenthood. Meanwhile, the feminist caricature of self-indulgence over sacrifice signals a cultural apocalypse.
This is Barack Obama’s “fundamental transformation” in action—dismantle tradition, erode faith, and watch the nation’s pulse flicker out.
Jack Callahan demands action: slam our borders shut, restore faith’s primacy, and reward the miracle of life. Incentivize families with robust child benefits, housing they can afford, and tax relief for the parents who heed posterity over petty predilections. Because a nation that abandons its children is a nation dead on its feet.
Will America awaken from this demographic coma, or shall it drift off into the night while others claim its legacy? The fight begins at home—nurture the cradle to save the republic.

It will take longer than Europe (except Poland), but eventually we will be speaking Arabic. Either a higher birth rate or restrictive immigration.
What I don't understand is why the cost of housing is growing when there should be plenty of available units, with fewer young people looking for houses and the huge aging baby boomer generation looking to downsize from their big two-stories before they die? Millions who owned homes are already dead. Shouldn't the laws of supply and demand translate into lower housing prices, or are high property taxes propping them up?
